Penn Community Bank Marketing Director joins leadership of state-wide industry organization
ย PERKASIE, Pa. (July 2021) โ Penn Community Bank, the largest mutual bank headquartered in eastern Pennsylvania, is proud to announce the naming of Bernard Tynes โ SVP, Director of Marketing and Data Analytics to the board of directors of the PA Bankers Association. Tynes is among several new directors added to the board and one of the youngest to serve on the board of the state-wide industry organization.
Tynes leads all facets of the Penn Community Bankโs marketing and community relations efforts, including a recent repositioning of the institutionโs mission-based brand. He is chair of the Pennsylvania Bankers Associationโs Young Professionals Network and member of its Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity Advisory Council. Tynes has been recognized as one of the regionโs Forty Under 40 by theย Philadelphia Business Journalย and one of Philadelphiaโs most influential African Americans byย The Philadelphia Tribune.
