Bucks Built Fund provides grants to four Bucks Co. businesses; $40,000 in grants still available
PERKASIE, Pa. (May 2023) โ Penn Community Bank, the largest mutual bank in eastern Pennsylvania, is continuing its commitment to grow the local economy and support area businesses by providing grants to four innovative startups. The $5,000 grants are the latest in the continued a partnership between Penn Community Bank and Doylestown-based nonprofit Startup Bucks. Recipients of Bucks Built Fund support include:
- ByeByeCry โ Developed a unique sound machine designed to soothe babies with colic.
- Liquid Limbs โ Designed a waterproof prosthetic shower device for individuals with lower limb loss.
- MentoMind โ Created an AI chatbot to help students overcome procrastination and meet deadlines.
- So Fresh So Green Juice Co โ Founded to make drinking healthy juice fun, tasty, and relatable.
In addition to this cohort, Penn Community Bank and Startup Bucks are pleased to announce their continued partnership in 2023, with an additional $40,000 in grants โ up to $10,000 per business – to be awarded this fall. Bucks Built Fund grant recipients will be announced at an expo-style event designed to bring the local startup community together.
