Each organization providing $25,000 in funding

PERKASIE, PA (MARCH 17, 2020) – Penn Community Bank, the largest mutual bank headquartered in Southeastern Pennsylvania, is partnering with the United Way of Bucks County to create the Bucks County COVID-19 Recovery Fund aimed at helping those who may experience a financial crisis as the result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Launching with $25,000 in donations from each organization, the fund will be used to assist residents with basic needs such as food, shelter, utilities, and transportation. Funds will flow through United Way’s member agencies, which will be able to request support for COVID-19-related services to clients. No administrative expenses will be attached to the fund; all money raised will go directly to help people and agencies with short-term and long-term financial recovery. Penn Community Bank Chief Relationship Officer Todd Hurley will join other local leaders in serving on a review board to oversee the allocation of funds.

Natalie Taptykoff receives “Tomorrow’s Promise Award” at Women in Banking Conference

The award, which recognizes a woman – aged 35 or younger – who is making a significant impact in the banking industry and the community she serves, was announced during the annual Women in Banking conference, which brings together banking professionals from across the state for a special event featuring networking, recognition and professional development designed to strengthen and deepen participants’ involvement in the industry, the association, and their communities.

Hunger Nutrition Coalition of Bucks County applauds volunteer, financial work of community-focused bank

PERKASIE, Pa. Jeane M. Vidoni to represent the Third Federal Reserve District on the Fed’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council

PERKASIE, Pa. (February 5, 2020) – Jeane M. Vidoni, president and CEO of Penn Community Bank – the largest mutual bank headquartered in Southeastern Pennsylvania – has been appointed to represent the Third Federal Reserve District on the Federal Reserve Board’s Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council (CDIAC) for 2020.

Perkasie-based community bank challenges area residents to commit to save historic South Perkasie Covered Bridge in partnership with Perkasie Historical Society

 PERKASIE, Pa.
