Penn Community Bank Celebrates New Branch with โ€˜Hello, Doylestownโ€™ Event Series

Former Phillies pitcher Rickyย Bottalicoย kicks off event series at Bucks County mutual bank

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (July 22, 2019) โ€“ Penn Community Bankย is proud to announce its summer event series โ€œHello Doylestown,โ€ย two months of special events toย introduce the community to the bankโ€™s newest branch in the Doylestown Shopping Center on North Main Street.

The series officially kicked off Thursday, July 25 with former Phillies pitcher and current Phillies commentator Ricky Bottalico who visited the branch for a meet-and-greet and autograph session. Over 125 people attended the event.

Penn Community Bank Joins Habitat for Humanity to Dedicate Sponsored Home in Bucks County

Local community bank sponsors construction of a Habitat home for a singleย motherย and her two children in Morrisville

MORRISVILLE, Pa. (July 14, 2019): Penn Community Bank executives joined Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County on June 29 to celebrate the dedication of a new home for a family in Morrisville Borough.

Volunteers, neighbors, donors and distinguished guests gathered to hand over the keys to 213 Woodland Ave., Morrisville. It is the 116thย home built by Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County, and is one of four new single-family homes on adjacent lots in Morrisville in a development that has been named Woodland Park.

Penn Community Bank served as the Whole House Partner on the project, pledging to donate $100,000 over three years to help finance construction of the house. More than 40 Penn Community Bank team members, executives and directors volunteered their time on site to help build the house, which will now become a home for Evita and her two children.

Communications & Development Manager Aaron Clark will help oversee communications initiatives for the stateโ€™s leading professional banking organization

PERKASIE, Pa. (July 12 2019) โ€“ย Penn Community Bankย is pleased to announce that team member Aaron Clark has been selected to serve on the Pennsylvania Bankers Associationโ€™s Public Relations and Communications Committee.

Clark, Penn Community Bankโ€™s Communications & Development Manager, will serve a three-year term on the committee beginning July 1, 2019. His responsibilities will include helping to educate the organization and its members on communications best practices, and to facilitate the sharing of news and information about member organizations. Clark has years of firsthand communications experience in the public policy arena, and has been working with Penn Community Bank for more than a year.

Festive evening showcases locally produced wines to sample and buy at local businesses around Jenkintown

PERKASIE, Pa. (June 2019):ย Penn Community Bank was proud to serve as a main sponsor of the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerceโ€™s second annual Wine Walk around Jenkintown.

Held for the second year in a row, the Wine Walk featured samples of locally produced wines from Blue Mountain Wines, Cardinal Hollow Winery, Grace Winery, Sandcastle Winery and Stone & Key Cellars. Local businesses that hosted the tastings included Adrenaline Dance Factory, Olive Lucy, Painting With a Twist, State Farm agent Michael Friel, and 705 West Printshop & Gallery. Live entertainment was provided by School of Rock, Fort Washington, Settlement Music School, and Bill Shannon.

PERKASIE, Pa. (June 12, 2019) โ€“ A Perkasie-area tradition will continue in 2019, thanks to support fromย Penn Community Bank, which again will sponsor the fireworks display at Pennridge Community Day.

Penn Community Bank has donated $6,000 to support the 47thย Annual Pennridge Community Day, to be held on July 7 in Perkasieโ€™s Lenape Park. The bank has donated money to support the eventโ€™s fireworks display for many years.
