Jeane M. Vidoni will serve as the Pennsylvania Member Director for the Mid-Atlantic financial institution

Vidoni has been elected as the Pennsylvania Member Director for the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLBank) of Pittsburgh’s Board of Directors. She will serve a four-year term beginning on Jan. 1, 2019.

Penn Community Bank Chief Administrative Officer will serve on governing committee of American Bankers Association’s council for mutual bankers

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (November 2018): Penn Community Bank, the area’s leading independent, mutual financial organization, is proud to announce that Chief Administrative Officer Diane Brown has been appointed to the Administrative Committee of the American Bankers Association’s Mutual Institutions Council.

With more than 100 members nationwide, the ABA’s Mutual Institutions Council addresses issues of interest to mutually chartered financial institutions and provides a forum for discussion and development of legislative and regulatory recommendations and actions. Brown will serve as one of 12 members of the council’s governing administrative committee; the members hail from financial institutions ranging in asset size from $190 million to $10.8 billion. She will serve a one-year term.

The area’s leading independent mutual bank adds Nancy Cimino and Connie Chau to the mortgage lending team

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (October 2018) – Penn Community Bank, the area’s leading independent, mutual financial organization, has hired two new mortgage loan officers, Nancy Cimino and Connie Chau. They will serve customers in the areas of Central and Upper Bucks County.

With more than 20 years of sales experience, Cimino has substantial real estate knowledge. She previously was employed at a Bucks County commercial appraisal firm, giving her wide experience with property records, tax maps, deeds, and zoning information. She lives in Riegelsville.

Early support for Economic Self-Sufficiency Program has transformed lives by helping Bucks County residents leave poverty, for good

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (October 2018) – For 20 years, Penn Community Bank has invested in a program that has improved the lives, and therefore the communities, of about 300 Bucks County residents, nearly all of them vulnerable women and children. Now, Bucks County Opportunity Council is recognizing the bank for those decades of support with its first-ever Self Sufficiency Champion award.

Bucks County Opportunity Council presented the award to Penn Community Bank at its Economic Self Sufficiency Program Graduation event, held Oct. 3 at Northampton Valley Country Club. The annual event celebrates the graduates’ successful completion of the program designed to help participants leave poverty behind for good.

The area’s leading independent mutual bank sponsors local affordable housing initiative

MORRISVILLE, Pa. (October 2018) – Penn Community Bank, the area’s leading independent, mutual financial organization, is pleased to announce a sponsorship pledge of $100,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Bucks County over the next three years to support the creation of affordable housing in Bucks County.

The donated funds will support the building of a new single-family home in Morrisville Borough. Penn Community Bank President and CEO Jeane M. Vidoni and Executive Vice President, Chief Relationship Officer Todd R. Hurley announced the pledge at the Oct. 10 groundbreaking on the four-home Woodland Park project on Woodland Avenue.

Diane Brown will lead 11-member board that oversees Upper Bucks County developmental preschool

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (October 2018) – Penn Community Bank, the area’s leading independent, mutual financial organization, is proud to announce that Chief Administrative Officer Diane Brown has been elected to serve as president of the board of directors of the Children’s Developmental Program, in Upper Bucks County.

Brown was elected president of the board at its annual meeting on Sept. 27, after serving as interim president since February. She has served on the board since 2013.

Located in Richland Township, just south of Quakertown, Children’s Developmental Program offers integrated preschool education to more than 100 children, some with special needs and some of typical development. Support services are provided in conjunction with the Bucks County Intermediate Unit and the Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts program.
