PERKASIE, Pa. (July 2021) โ Penn Community Bank, the largest mutual bank headquartered in eastern Pennsylvania, has named Stephen Murphy EVP, Chief Banking Officer.
Murphy has led the bankโs Residential and Consumer Lending department since 2013 and sales administration across the organization since 2019. In the new and expanded role he will oversee the bankโs consumer banking functions including retail banking, and consumer and small business lending. Murphy will also continue to lead the organizationโs sales and service management processes.

Murphy has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including time at regional institutions and local lending firms. He is a graduate of Temple University, Stonier School of Banking, and Wharton Leadership Program at the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Plumstead Township.
