JENKINTOWN, Pa. (January 2018) โ When it was founded in 1918, the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce had only 40 members. Today, as it marks its 100th anniversary, it boasts more than 500 members, a feat which Penn Community Bank recognized recently at a networking event at its Jenkintown branch.
Penn Community Bank honored the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber on its milestone anniversary at a Business After-Hours event on Jan. 11 at its branch location in the Baederwood Shopping Center. The event, one of several held each year, provided chamber members the opportunity to network with one another and to tour Penn Community Bankโs first Montgomery County branch, which opened in October 2017.
The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce serves businesses and professionals who live, work, or do business in eastern Montgomery County. It also organizes more than 50 events each year and prides itself on providing valuable programs that help members stay current with the latest innovations in business and communication technology.
